My Experience of Working at TravTalk




Working at TravTalk has been a deeply enriching and transformative experience. It offered me a first-hand understanding of how the travel media industry functions under real-world pressures—tight deadlines, limited budgets, and the constant need to deliver quality content.

The role demanded multitasking at every level: coordinating roadshows, following up relentlessly with clients and partners through calls, emails, and WhatsApp, managing editorial requirements, and ensuring seamless execution from planning to publication. It was a fast-paced environment that sharpened my communication skills, negotiation abilities, and problem-solving mindset. Also, it taught me how to manage (some) overinflated egos. 

What truly makes the experience rewarding is seeing the final issue in print with your name on the byline That moment validated all the hard work, persistence, and long hours invested behind the scenes. Beyond technical skills, TravTalk taught me professionalism, resilience, and the importance of accountability in the working world.

Overall, my time at TravTalk helped bridge the gap between academic learning and industry reality, preparing me to navigate workplace challenges with confidence and maturity.
