Go Goa!

Well, Well, Well...a week has passed since the holidays began and I didn't even come to know...How time flies!!! And its the time which everyone has been eagerly waiting for round the year...Vacation- A Time when one can just zip off from maddening noise, pollution and hustle and bustle of city life and go off to somwhere much more relaxing and calm. This year our family decided to go to GOA!! Yes, Goa's the one of the few places in India which has so far been untouched by the pollution, noise etc and has remained a top favourite tourist spot for Indians and foreigners alike. The lovely beaches, beatiful churches, friendly people, rocking nightlife and awesome cuisine are just few of the many attractions that draw Goa hordes of tourists every year. Its also a shopper's paradise with many famous designers opening their stores their. Because of all this our family decided to visit Goa and experince its charm ourselves. We have been asking lot of people about their experiences and getting feedback like "Goa's an awesome place to visit" and " You're going to Goa? Wow, its a lovely place to visit" is very common. Our flight is on the 19th and though it is just 2 days from now, every hour seems longer to pass....

No problems though...I'm waiting!!!

Holidays Ahoy!

Well....so the holidays have finally...begun. And what a relief! After all the hard work and effort we put in we DO deserve this much needed break. After all we are not robots are we?? But these holidays have left me wondering....are these really holidays in the real sense?? I mean, the schools give us sooo much of holiday h.w., that do they really want us to enjoy our holidays?? My mom tells me that in their time there used to be no holiday h.w. and that they used to spend their time sketching, reading, and many othere activities of their choice. Its not that we can't do all these activities, its just that even if you are enjoying its always on the back of your mind that there is so much of h.w. which needs to be done. My advice to all those students like me who have have got so much of h.w.--Dont worry, enjoy your hols but do take some time out for your holiday h.w. as well so that you don't end up finishing all your h.w. in the last week of June.(which many of us do)
