The Indian Cricket Team

So finally! The Indian Cricket Team's run in the Carribean has come to an END! And rightly so, after their poor perfomance against Sri Lanka the shouldn't have been banking on a highly unlikely win from Bermuda against Bangladesh. As of one the dailies mentions that one Bermudan batsman, after coming out of his room was mobbed by die-hard indian cricket fans who were saying-"Please win this match, one billion hopes are resting on you." It is not right to put the Bermudan team under so much pressure and anyways the Bangaldeshi team are no longer minnows anymore and fully dersreved to go into the Super Eights. In fact in the match against Bangladesh, it was the Indian team who were behaving like minnows!! As there is speculation going on that if coach Greg Chappell will be axed or not, all we can do is to wait and watch and watch without any tension as the Indian team is out of the World Cup!

Eklavya and Guru

  

Yesterday, I saw the movie Eklavya on DVD. I was highly disappointed. What a waste of such a fine artist like Amitabh Bachchan! People were saying that this was Amitabh Bachchan's best perfomance till date.... how can it be so ??? On the other hand his son Abhishek Bachchan has excelled in Guru though it did leave me confused that even if someone uses bribes, he can still be very successful. But ultimately this is reality and this is how the world functions

I would like to conclude my post with a thought--

Life is like an ice cream enjoy it before it melts!

Modern School

I would formally like to commence the 1st post of my blog with my school motto.(Modern School). As our Principal Mrs Lata Vaidyanathan puts it--"There is always room at the top. Dont run a race with others, run a race with yourself. Go conquer the world!!." This is my way of paying tribute to our great instituition and one of the oldest schools in Delhi-MODERN SCHOOL
